INSTRUCTORS
Somaly
Rodriguez (Zumba 4 Dancers Instructor)
was born in Habana, Cuba Somaly is a professional dancer ,
Choreographer and Zumba Instructor. She is a graduate of
different Latin and international dances. Since the age of seven
she began her dance career at the Casa de la Cultura De
Buenabacoa. After a long time of preparation at the age of
sixteen she began to dance professionally with Conjunto
Folklorico Cucalambe. Then she danced at the Salon Rosado de la
Tropical (Cuba) where she had the opportunity to travel to
different countries such as Mexico, Italy, France, Jamaica and
the Dominican Republic. In the Dominican republic she became a
choreographer for Caribic Star Cruise and then for the show
Alfatori (a mixture of cuban and dominican rhythms). For seven
years she stayed in the Dominican Republic working for different
hotel chains as a dancer and choreographer and performing at the
most prestigious theaters of the country. She was also the
choreographer for the popular band Las Chicas Del Can. and
lastly she was a member of Ballet Nuevo Milenio with
professional dancers from different countries. Now that she
lives in California she continues to work as a Zumba Instructor
and continues to teach Latin dances at Maya Room Dance Studio
(Downey) and Bally's Gym (Downey, Montebello and West Covina)

Ernesto Estrada
(Salsa & Guaguanco
Basics Instructor)
is native of Guadalajara Jal. Mexico. Mr. Estrada
has been dancing, for about 8 years. He first started with Alex Da
Silva and word champion Liz Lira's dance team. After 2 years, in
2008 he joined the Salsabor y Cache Dance Company family and he has
been an active member till the present time. He started he's own
production company in 2009 named
mydanceproductions.com.
Ernesto has been successfully
promoting major clubs & events in Los Angeles as well as
international events, He's well recognized as a respected well
dressed gentleman and an excellent business man as well as a
charismatic and passionate performer.
Demetrio
Rosario (Salsa On 2
Instructor) is a dancer and instructor of Dominican decent and
lives in Los Angeles, California. He was exposed to Bachata and
Merengue at an early age by listening to the music at home,
family events, and parties which brought him closer to his love
for the music.
Demetrio grew up being really active
and followed his passion for sports from the age of 6 but
re-discovered hi...s passion for dance at the age of 18. He
began taking salsa lessons with Ashkan Jabarianha, who helped
him improve his timing, technique and musicality. In 2005, he
joined Candela Pura Dance Company, led by Miguel Aguirre and his
father(Francisco Aguirre). "Traveling and performing locally
inspired me to improve my dancing after seeing so many great
dancers and performers," he remembers.
Collins
Osagiede (Music Instructor)
(Collins Harmony Lab, World Of
Success) is an innovative music educator, instructor, producer,
director and manager inter alia. He leads a diverse team of
dynamic, multi-talented, musicians/instructors/facilitators who
each bring a unique perspective to the musical experience. Collins,
who is also an awarded science and math instructor conceived of the
“Harmony Lab” as a music laboratory where there is a fusion of
musical genius from all forms and styles to produce a unique blend
of groundbreaking, cutting edge musical experiences. His team
provides didactic and practical instruction in percussion
instruments: Standard Drum Set, Conga, Djembe, marracas, tambourine,
Piano (and yes, the piano is a percussion instrument!), stringed
instruments: (guitar, bass, ukalele, etc.) and a variety of musical
styles and genres. Collins and members of his team have individually
and collectively produced and directed music concerts and shows.
Collins produced and directed the Agape Streams
concert (Benin City, Nigeria) and wrote and played the bass lines of
all the songs in a debut album/CD released by a contemporary pop
singer in Africa. In the US, Collins has also been the Music
Director for several institutions/programs. Collins Harmony
Lab has cradled several bands some of which have performed in
the most recent edition of the Northeast Los Angeles Holiday Parade.
Collins also created, built and developed the music program of a
renowned high school in the Northeast Los Angeles area.
Rogelio
Moreno (Salsa & Cha cha cha Instructor)
is one of the creators of the world
renown Los Angeles Salsa Style
and director of the
famous dance team,
Salsabor Y Cache.
Mr. Moreno
has 19 years of experience teaching, his captivating
style has harnessed the attention of everyone from Japanese event
coordinators to Hollywood producers and directors. His superior talent has bestowed on him
numerous trophies from dance competitions, and has given him the
opportunity to travel to beautiful and exotic places all over the
world to share with others the radiance and passion that emanate
from these sensuous and exquisite dances, when danced from the
heart. Rogelio is in demand for his teaching, Choreography and acting. He
can bring music to the eyes of the deaf: his heart keeps the beat of
the clave, his body the bass, piano, violin and horns and his feet
play the congas and sing. He is a one man band with a dancing show.

Tomas Olivera
(Merengue Instructor)
began dancing in 1996 at the age of 12 and hasn’t stopped since
then. He began dancing for the first Latin Dance Company on the
Los Angeles area, Ritmo Y Sabor. With this company he gained
much experience in many dances such as Salsa, Merengue, Bachata,
Cumbia and more. After this Tomas became involved in various
disciplines including Ballroom, Hip Hop, Ballet, Gymnastics and
many more. He has performed at various Salsa Congresses like the
West Coast Salsa Congress, Las Vegas Salsa Festival, San
Francisco International Salsa Congress, and the Miami Salsa
Congress. Tomas has also appeared on Television Networks such as
Telemundo, NBC, Univision, and Fox, and has competed in numerous
prestigious salsa competitions like The Mayan Salsa Competition,
The Stevens Men’s Salsa Showdown and much more. Now at days
Tomas concentrates on teaching and sharing his knowledge and
passion for dancing. Teaching gives him a great sense of
satisfaction to know people are learning and having fun at the
same time. He currently instructs at several locations like The
Vasilios Salsa Club and many other locations.
Dana
Hathaitham (Tango Instructor), a true
southern California native. Born and raised in Orange Country,
she is a true renaissance woman. Though she graduated with a
bachelor degree in BioMedical Sciences, Dana decided to follow
her passions in the world of dance. Dana has been trained in
various dance disciplines. As a child/teen she first starting
with cultural dances, belly dancing and ballet, then moved to
the world of hip hop in college. She realized that her true
calling was in the world of ballroom dancing. She started
teaching American Rhythm and Smooth for the Orange Ballroom in
2004, and has continued teaching since. Dancing the Cha Cha,
Dana appeared in the television show, “The Big Bang Theory” in
2011. Also, Dana is a member to Roscoe’s Rascals and By Your
Side Productions, dancing various dances like Lindy, Argentine
Tango, and Fox Trot. Dana was later exposed to the world of
Salsa and Bachata, where she finds herself most enjoying. To
round of her dance repertoire, she added the social dances of
Argentine Tango and West Coast Swing. In Argentine Tango, she
has trained with various instructors and companies. She has
recently been dancing Tango with Sergei Tumas Productions, Inc.
In the end, Dana has realized she finds the most satisfaction
with teaching dance. Not only sharing her knowledge, but her
love, her passion for this form of art.
